I think its a good trade off especially with an armor save. For example, a Str 4 bolter against armour 11 can’t do anything, but on a 6 it can wound a T7 monster. Here is the armor to-glance chart with some proposed Toughness values included in the header:Īs you can see, in the to wound chart, you get 2 chances for a 6 to cause a wound, but against armour you don’t get that benefit. If they were monstrous creatures, what would their toughness value be? The armour value is really very similar to toughness if you break it down like the to wound chart. This is a step in the right direction, but one thing that would instantly make them better is to make them like Tao and Eldar robots, and make them monstrous creatures. ![]() OK, GW recognized a problem, and gave us 2 extra attacks base for all Dreadnoughts.
